WHAT IS UV LASH EXTENSIONS? WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?

This method is different from the traditional lash adhesive application. UV lash extensions is a method of application were a UV light cures the adhesive within seconds on the natural eyelash. The application is the same as using normal adhesive. Using a UV light ensures a quick and strong bond. This process can be more comfortable and less irritating for the clients as it produces less fumes.

FASTER CURING | APPLICATION TIME

UV application is known to have a faster application time due to being able to work directly with the next lash as there is no risk of stickies once it has been cured with the light. This will also help artists who struggle with their adhesives room conditions as the UV does not need a certain temp/humidity for it to work.

UV LIGHT EXPOSURE

The UV light is a 5W light which is a very low intensity than nail lights or tanning beds. The amount your exposed to the UV light is very minimal as the glue is a 0.5-1second dry time meaning you only need the light on for each lash which is 1 second so roughly people have up to 150-200 natural lashes meaning during a full set application you would only be exposed to the light for less than 3-4 minutes and 1-2 minutes for refills. Using the equipment correctly and UV disposables the UV light is minimal to no risk during an application. If you are concerned prior to your application please contact your General Practitioner or Optometrist to make sure it is suitable for you.
